In-house Night Manager

We are currently recruiting for an In-house Night Manager – a pivotal role here at Colshaw Hall.

Place of work:

Colshaw Hall is located on a country estate in Over Peover, which is just two miles outside Knutsford and is one of Cheshire’s leading Wedding Venues. It’s within easy reach of Chelford, Knutsford, Holmes Chapel and Northwich areas.

The Hall itself is a Grade II listed Manor House with 14 bedrooms and we have a further 4 Courtyard Cottages, 4 Luxury Eco Lodges, Hunter’s Lodge and the Irlam Lodge. These are all located on a 300-acre site, that can accommodate up to a total of 44 guests for an overnight stay.

The Role:

We are looking for a self-motivated, hands-on Night Manager to work alongside our competent and friendly Wedding Team. Based at Colshaw Hall, this important role focuses on making sure the venue is well organised, tidy and attending to the needs of our guests to uphold our five-star ratings.  You will assist our team and catering with turning around the venue (providing chairs and tables according to a room set up), helping the team to clean and attending to guests needs throughout the evening.  Ensuring guests not staying over, have a safe passage off site at the end of the evening.

Working directly with the Irlam Family, you’ll be upholding the customer service our guests expect and in return you’ll be rewarded with an excellent rate of pay.

The Specifics:

• This is a hands-on role which requires someone who is flexible, with a high level of attention to detail and who can work positively as part of a team. They must be client-focussed and have initiative.
• Good interpersonal skills and highly organised, confident in a customer-facing role and be happy to help clean, move furniture and attend to customer’s needs.
• Fulltime, employed by Colshaw Hall. Working evening and nights (flexible hours in line with the needs of the business).
• You will be given a full induction to Colshaw Hall and in-house training, an excellent rate of pay and enjoy working in a beautiful location.
