Social Media Manager
We are seeking a creative and dynamic Social Media Manager to elevate our award-winning Cheshire wedding venue.
As our in-house storyteller, you will develop engaging content to showcase Colshaw Hall across TikTok, Instagram and Facebook. This will include promoting the unique features of our venue, providing inspo for our booked couples, and promoting our open days. Your role will be integral in complementing our existing marketing strategies, driving engagement, increasing awareness, and ultimately boosting sales for Colshaw Hall.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create compelling content, including posts, reels, and stories, to showcase the magic of Colshaw Hall
- Collaborate with the team to capture and share day-to-day activities
- Manage our social media feeds and engage directly with our online community, responding to comments and messages
- Expand our follower base and drive engagement across multiple platforms
- Plan and produce fresh, relevant content to maintain an active online presence
- Develop and execute the content calendar
- Coordinate with local photographers/videographers to collect current and visually appealing content
Desired Skills:
We are looking for a creative individual with exceptional writing skills, keen attention to detail, and a thorough understanding of current trends in social media marketing. You’ll have a proactive and enthusiastic approach and be able to work alongside the existing team (we are all pretty nice and supportive!).
Ideally, you will have some experience in social media management, with a strong visual sense and proficiency in creating and editing photo and video content with your phone.
Requirements:
Likely to be part-time, but this is flexible. You’ll need to attend a few weddings/open days per month to generate content, which may include occasional weekends. Likely to be on a self-employed basis to start with.
